We are a small design-build firm based out of the Greater Smoky Mountains. This entity was started with the vision and goal in mind to excel in the ever expanding market of the Greater Smoky Mountains for spectacular architecture that cannot be replicated, also while providing a significant value to the community and our investors with our services. LEADERSHIP
DAVID HENSLEY
David Hensley is one of the key leaders in Modern Smokies.
Born in Kingsport Tennessee, David is a husband and father to Madison and one daughter. David has over 9 years of residential, commercial, and industrial construction experience. During this period, David has been involved in over 200 million dollars in revenue constructing residential homes, national cemeteries, military bases, and chemical plants.
In 2020, David began his career in real estate investment, focusing on buying land for real estate development in the Smoky Mountain and Eastern TN areas. Furthermore, focusing on his passion of design/build projects for personal investments, and for anyone in the community looking for a product and experience that exceeds any expectations.
When David is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, racing events, and traveling.
AHMAD LOVELL
Ahmad Lovell is one of the key leaders in Modern Smokies
Born in Kingsport Tennessee, Ahmad is a loving husband to Kaylee. Ahmad graduated from East Tennessee State University in 2021 with a bachelors degree in construction management, and also holds his MBA from the University of Phoenix. Ahmad has over 4 years of commercial and industrial construction experience supporting over approximately 500 million dollars in revenue for the Department of Defense (DoD) of the United States in design/build projects.
In 2020, Ahmad began his career in real estate investment, focusing on buying land for real estate development in the Smoky Mountain and Eastern TN areas. Furthermore, focusing on his passion of design/build projects for personal investments, and for anyone in the community looking for a product and experience that exceeds any expectations.
When Ahmad is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, Boating, Concerts, and traveling.
